Sea Freight
Process
Navin Logistics receives shipment details from the customer and proceeds to book space with a shipping line that best matches the required price, schedule, and port of loading–port of discharge. Before confirmation, the Navin team carefully reviews vessel schedules, cargo cut-off times, container types, and quantities to ensure the delivery plan stays on schedule.
LCL (Less than Container Load): Navin consolidates cargo, applies shipping marks, and delivers the goods to a CFS warehouse for consolidation with other shipments.
FCL (Full Container Load): Cargo is stuffed and sealed at the shipper’s warehouse, then transported directly to the container yard (CY) for handover to the shipping line.
Navin Logistics supports customers with electronic customs declaration, document verification, and completion of any required specialized procedures (such as quarantine, fumigation, export licenses, etc.) before vessel departure.
After the cargo is loaded on board, Navin coordinates with the shipping line to issue the Bill of Lading. All B/L details are confirmed by the customer prior to issuance to ensure accuracy.
Navin assists the exporter in completing the full set of shipping documents, including: Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin (C/O), etc.
Depending on the payment method (T/T or L/C), the document set is sent directly to the importer or through the bank.Tùy phương thức thanh toán (T/T hoặc L/C), bộ chứng từ sẽ được gửi trực tiếp cho người nhập khẩu hoặc qua ngân hàng.
Upon receipt of the documents, the importer reviews all details to ensure consistency with the actual cargo, avoiding errors during customs clearance.
When the vessel is approaching the destination port, the shipping line’s agent sends a Notice of Arrival to Navin Logistics or the customer. Navin updates the schedule and guides the customer in preparing documents, fees, and the cargo pickup plan.
The importer or Navin Logistics presents the original Bill of Lading and settles all required charges to obtain the Delivery Order from the shipping line. Navin then arranges warehouse release documents and transportation.
Navin supports import customs declaration, submission of documents, and completion of any required specialized inspections. All procedures are handled promptly to ensure timely cargo clearance.
After customs clearance, Navin Logistics arranges cargo pickup at the port and delivery to the customer’s warehouse. For FCL shipments, Navin also supports cargo unloading and the timely return of empty containers to the shipping line.
